The clients favored the Infinity pool. I mentioned to the client that in order for an Infinity pool to be visually effective it needed to be considerably elevated from the background of a body of water, canyon, valley, etc…. This view shows the infinity pool and its background when sitting on the ground or floor of the house roughly 24 to 36 inches. The top of the pool sits approximately 30 to 36 inches from the level of the lake. The architecture of the pool is interesting to look at but when standing the line of sight does not allow for the infinity characteristic to work.
